Every Harriet Warrilow bag begins with a single piece of premium full grain leather. We select our hides carefully — choosing vegetable tanned leather for its natural beauty, exceptional durability, and environmental credentials. Unlike chrome-tanned leather used by most fashion brands, vegetable tanned leather is produced using plant-based dyes and traditional tanning processes that are kinder to the environment and result in a purer, more characterful material.
Our leather handbags are designed and handcrafted entirely in England. We cut each piece by hand, stitch using a combination of traditional saddle stitching and machine sewing, and finish every edge by hand. The result is a bag with a level of detail and quality that factory production simply cannot replicate.
We’re proud to design and manufacture every bag in our English studio. In an industry dominated by overseas production and fast fashion, we choose to do things differently. Every bag is made by one pair of hands, from start to finish, using traditional leather craft techniques that have been practised in this part of England for generations.
